SARA and BEN

Married in Penn Yan, NY  on May 27th, 2018

When Sara and Ben asked me if I would fly to upstate New York to photograph their wedding, I practically jumped at the chance! Between Sara's bubbly, infectious personality and Ben's deep love of (amazing) music- I knew this would be an incredibly fun, heartwarming and rockin' good time!

The details of this wedding captured my attention immediately. The bouquets from Foote Florals were works of art on their own; But when paired with the beautiful, vintage estate jewelry the bride and groom chose for their wedding rings, my breath was just about taken away.

As with so many of us, Sara and Ben's family of friends and community of support are immeasurably important to them. They took great care in gathering together those most important to them to surround them with love as they take this journey. Wally (Ben and Sara's charming and intelligent fur-baby) was their ring bearer and soaked up the attention of the bridal party. There was much laughter, many hugs and a splash of champagne as they prepared for the ceremony. Luckily their amazing venue Crispin Hill has a house that can be rented for your wedding weekend. The house was positively bursting with love and romance.

Elegant and stunning, Sara's dress looked like a dream hanging in the spectacular master bathroom.

Sara opted for a classic ceremony shoe then went for something fun and custom for the reception.

Her bridespeople opted for whatever their beautiful hearts desired.

It was soon time for Sara and Ben's first look but first...

Sara and Ben had the most beautiful ceremony, much of which was penned by Ben himself. They had a dear friend officiate and several other friends give touching readings.
